charlidos, this model's site has credits for JC's video *and* a Making the Video for it. This is the first thing that has made me optimistic about JC's promo in forever, since the beginning of August, in fact. One of the things that has had me so worried about support for the album has been the fact that the it doesn't seem to be hitting the basics; there's certain things that any album from a high profile pop performer can expect to have, and one of them is a Making the Video for the first single.
However it's also got me confused. Because MTV is generally pretty insistent that when they are doing a Making the Video, that it be a real premiere. I'm sure there must be some exceptions, but I can't think of any offhand. So why the First Look on AOL? Is AOL equally insistent? If not, then maybe the reference to 11/4 on MTV's site for a "Some Girls" special was supposed to be the Making the Video, and it got delayed, and thus the delay and then yanking of the First Look.
Of course, I'd feel even more optimistic if we got an actual date for the debut, but good news!
