The thing that gets me about popslash is how even the most unlikely and traditionally badfic genres can be done with complete brilliance. Witness the mpreg, which Betty reinvents in clutch and incubate. But even Lise's more traditional variant is gorgeous.

sparkly weekends

kennedy,lovelypoet, and poofusgirl and I spent the whole long weekend with the sparklies. We had tentatively planned to go out and do something on Sunday, figuring we'd be burnt out, but there was no burnout! Just a lot of the classics. Making of Pop, Making the Tour, Atlantis (which is going to be my absolute favorite performance until Celebrity comes out). We watched the Ft. Lauderdale boot, which is superb quality for a boot, but dammit I want the Celebrity DVD! {sulks}
Soon there must be another!
