I was bored, what can I say. But there's an mildly amusing thread that includes this post by CHipslover:

I'm from Orlando, and Church street is near Tabu (Howie D's from BSBs club). I can't go in because I'm not 21. I did however walk by as I was leaving another club (most close at 3) and saw Lance and JC coming out in each others arms, Screaming the beginning of Leverne and Shirley at the TOP of thier lungs. ( I don't know how that goes, but its been parodied so many times its ridiculous). They skipped hand in hand right by their limo. The driver had to come out and get them. I have to say it was the funniest and saddest things I had ever witnessed of all sightings in orlando.

And now I'm having frightening visions of the Laverne and Shirley AU.

Really nice JuC by Daria, Birthday; it takes a long long time for JC to get it right, but eventually he does.

And of course, Synchronik's latest, Trade. Because everyone must turn Lance into a girl at least once.

It's addictive. But not the good sort of sparkly crack.

Apparently someone called into a Las Vegas radio station claiming to be David (Hernandez?) a good friend of Lance's. Claiming to want to clear up the 'money problems' rumor. His tidbits:

1) The people sponsoring Lance wont front $5 million (due this friday) until the Rassians sign a contract saying he WILL go to space
2) The Russians wont sign a contract until they front the $5 mil!
3) Lance is working 12-hour days, 7 days a week. He has no life out there.
4) David expects him to be sent back this friday He spoke to Lance yesterday and says the kid sounded pretty upset (duh) (sic)

It's actually pretty believable. There's clearly a faction in the Russian program that Really Does Not Want Lance (thus all the dueling spokesmen we had for a while) and any sponsors would be really reluctant to put non-refundable millions in if they think the Russians will then pull the rug out from under.

Poor Lance. I wonder if he'll go to the VMAs if he gets sent back. I wouldn't blame him one bit for heading to his beach house and drinking margaritas for the next month.
